On 25th March 2021, the Guide of the 2021-2027 Erasmus+ programme and the first call for the year 2021 have both been published. The new Erasmus+ programme will bring some relevant changes with respect to the 2014-2020 period. A special emphasis is on financing projects that are inclusive for all, including rural and remote areas.
This article reports the main changes of the programme and how new instruments could be used to make education and trainings fit to the 21st century in mountain areas.
