In line with the European Green Deal launched by the new European Commission and in respect of the Commission’s work plan for 2020, a new Circular Economy Action Plan was published on March 10, 2020. The new Action Plan announces initiatives along the entire life cycle of products that aim at promoting circular economy processes, fostering sustainable consumption and ensuring a sustainable management of resources. The new Action Plan will have direct impacts for local authorities as well as for citizens.
