New Guidelines for Sustainable Energy Investments buildings

DG Energy is providing a new guidance document to help Managing Authority (MA) in charge of the implementation of European Structural and Investment Funds to plan and deploy Sustainable energy investments buildings in their Operational Programmes.

This document provides a list of Good Practices and case studies to inform the Managing Authorities about the European requirements on buildings. It also explores the different financing mechanisms that MAs can use to support sustainable energy projects within an Operational Programme, with the objective of launching large scale investments in the energy renovation of buildings and attracting greater levels of private ‐ sector investment.
