On 18th March 2015, ERIAFF (European Regions for Innovation in Agriculture, Food and Forestry) Topsector and WIRE (Water and Irrigated Agriculture Resilient Europe) organised a common event in Brussels. Entitled “Regional cooperation for innovation on water management in horticulture”, the workshop focused on innovative approaches on water management in horticulture: open field and protected production.Particularly, it had the aim of highlighting the cooperation of EU -regions in setting priorities for innovation on water use and emission reduction from horticulture.
