This following study presents the progress of the implementation and use of the optional quality term (OQT) “mountain product” across different regions in Italy. The objective is to provide a general overview of how the term is being used and an idea of how the different regions should move forward on lobbying at the national level regarding the implementation and regulation of the use of the OQT “mountain product” in Italy (article in English and Italian).
