The EU Promotion Policy, that promotes agricultural products within and outside the European Union, is being revised with the objective to make it more sustainable. The Promotion Policy is an opportunity to publicise the unique assets of mountain food products.
Drawing on the discussions of DG AGRI Civil Dialogue Group “Quality & Promotion”, of which Euromontana is a member, this article summarises the main elements of the reform and the attention points to be addressed via the ongoing public consultation.
