Sustainable mountain development: Euromontana’s 2023 booklet of good practices is out!

Euromontana enters 2023 with the publication of its annual booklet of good practices. This publication showcases 11 inspiring initiatives from all over Europe (UE and non-UE) collected by Euromontana in 2022 to promote initiatives that drive change and sustainable transformation in mountain areas.

The booklet addresses key topics relevant to sustainable development in Europe’s mountains, from agriculture and rural development to youth, sustainable energy and ecosystems restoration among others. It aims to provide inspiration on practices, ideas or even funding sources, and to encourage their transfer and adaptation in other regions.

How to support mountain municipalities in the energy transition? How can mountain areas make their territory more attractive to young people and prevent youth migration? How can mobile services benefit local communities? Find out in our 2023 booklet of good practices for the sustainable development of mountain areas!

Do you want to share your initiative with other mountainous regions? Send your good practice to communication@euromontana.org!
