The European Commission has launched an online consultation process on the Role of the Research in Global Food and Nutrition Security

In the framework of the “Expo Milano 2015 Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”, the European Commission (EC) expects to start a long-term dialogue with stakeholders in order to facilitate a participative and evidence-based policy making to solve the problems concerning food and nutrition security.

The objective of this consultation is to bring together the opinion of the stakeholders, scientific community and citizens on the role that research has to play in facing the challenges related to ensuring food and nutrition security.

This consultation is addressed to all citizens and organisations but contributions coming from the scientific community are particularly appreciated.
