In the Eastern part of Austria young pupils have the opportunity to use all public transport in the regions of Burgenland, Niederösterreich and Vienna for only € 60,00 a year. This ticketing method exists since September 2012 and is called „Top-Youth-Ticket“. It is designated to pupils and all persons younger than 24 years old.
For those who don’t want to travel in the whole region but only on a certain route, like from home to school, a „Youth-Ticket“ for the price of € 19,60/year has been created.
