Tourism accommodation services: a consultation is opened

In the framework of the elaboration of its Green paper on Safety of Tourism Accommodation Services, the European Commission has launched a public consultation on the 29th July 2014.

Even if the safety of tourism accommodation services remains in the responsibility of each MemberState, tourism is transnational and Member States should discuss about these issues without considering borders. The consultation aims at collecting data and evidences on consumers’ experience in order to evaluate the risks of the accommodation and its consequences on the quality of services provided.

If you are interested by this consultation, you have to answer before 30th November 2014. The results should be known at the beginning of 2015.
