The European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) published on September 2013 a document called ”Successful innovation brokerage” in the framework of the end of the Phase 2 of the Focus Group on Knowledge Transfer and Innovation. This article aims to summarise the mentioned document, going deeper on the functions and actions that an innovation broker should develop and giving some ideas on strategies to fund this actions under the new Rural Development Programs (RDP). The final purpose of the article is to give the members some key points on how to develop innovation brokering actions under RDP in the next programming period.
