Euromontana is pleased to have endorsed in December 2020 a Memorandum of Understanding with the Carpathian Convention in December 2020. Euromontana and the Carpathian Convention will further collaborate in the future to exchange knowledge and expertise on issues related to agriculture and rural development.
Euromontana is convinced that cooperation among all European mountains is crucial to achieve sustainable development and make mountains attractive by learning from others and discovering innovative initiatives. Adrian-Radu Rey, Vice-President of Euromontana and President of Romontana, welcomed the agreement during the last meeting of the Conference of the Parties in November 2020. He explained that this agreement “will give us the opportunity to further exchanges successful experiences and best practices, but also to exchange wider knowledge and experts and develop joint projects.
