As part of the new European Green Deal, and with the EU 2020 Biodiversity Strategy coming to an end, the European Commission published on May 20, 2020, the new EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030. This strategy has a headline commitment: by 2030, Europe’s biodiversity should be on the path to recovery.
