Heading towards a new LIFE: priorities for post-2020

Last LIFE call for proposals over the 2014-2020 period, alongside side with a targeted consultation for the Future of LIFE Programme, have just been published. By the end of this month, the LIFE Info & Networking Day and updated proposal of the Multi Annual Financial Framework for 2021-2027 should be presented.

This article is sought to position itself at the crossroads between these events, to provide an overview on the key points of 2014-2020 LIFE Programme and compare these with the changes suggested by the European Commission for the 2021-2027 period. It also provides you with the next steps and indicative timeline for the adoption and implementation of the post-2020 LIFE programme, taking into consideration that changes can still occur due to the COVID-19 crisis and its impact on the European budget.
