Views remain divided on mountain foods: who will decide?

The advisory group on quality met on June 25th with 10 points on the agenda including the discussion on the delegated act on mountain products. Euromontana had prepared its position on the basis of the
consultation sent to all members based on the last draft and coordinated with other parties on the advisory group. No draft was distributed and stakeholders, whose consultation is not mandatory for the elaboration of delegated acts, had to provide statements on the basis of not always updated information obtained from respective member states. The main hot subjects were discussed, especially origin of feed and place of processing.
